Liquifry Egglayer No.1 is an excellent food source for baby fish (fry) at the early stages of their lives. It’s a highly nutritious liquid food that is completely sterile and small enough for even the tiniest of babies to not choke on.

You cant get away with feeding baby fish on adult fish food. Feed the fry in your aquarium with a food especially formulated for their physical limitations and nutritional demands. Egg-laying fish have slightly different nutritional requirements to live-bearing fish. Liquifry No. 1 consists of minute particles suspended in liquid which readily disperse in the water. The particles will give immediate nourishment to your fry, and you wont need to worry about them choking on the pre-soaked particles. Add a few drops soon after eggs are laid and the food will stimulate natural infusoria adding to the diet of your fry.
How To Feed
Add 1 drop per 4 litres (1 gallon) or 2-4 times per day. You’ll notice the water becomes slightly cloudy due to the Liquifry food particles. Liquifry is a sterile product and will not cause disease or contamination. Follow the pack instructions carefully.
Interpet Liquifry products are also available for baby live-bearing fish and for growing baby fish.

When should I start feeding my fry?
Newly hatched fry will still have their egg sacks attached. We call these “wrigglers” and during this stage they will absorb nutrients from this egg sack. Some species will consume their egg sack within just 48 hours whilst others can require up to five days. You should start feeding liquifry from the moment the egg sacks are consumed and the fry are able to feed via their mouths.
How Often Should I Feed My Fry?
You should feed 2-4 times a day, depending on how much food is consumed. Fry will eat almost continuously if given the chance and the more they can consume, the faster and healthier their growth becomes. It is however important to ensure that you don’t spoil water quality!
When should I upgrade their food?
Upgrade to Liquifry No.2 when your fry have clearly visible mouths large enough to accept fine grade powder food. This transition will help your baby fish learn to eat adult foods eventually.
