Vetark ACE-High Vitamin Supplement 50g

Vetark ACE-High is a concentrated vitamin and mineral supplement formulated for reptiles, birds and fish, providing particularly high levels of Vitamins A, C and E alongside a range of additional vitamins and minerals.

It is designed to provide additional nutritional support during periods of stress, recovery or increased nutritional demand, when maintaining an appropriate vitamin intake can be particularly important.

ACE-High also contains B vitamins including B1, B2, B6 and B12.

The three principal vitamins within ACE-High perform a number of important nutritional roles.

Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of healthy epithelial tissues and mucous membranes and is particularly important for normal growth, vision and immune function.

Vitamin C has antioxidant functions and is involved in numerous normal physiological processes.

Vitamin E is an important antioxidant and contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.

Together with the additional vitamins and minerals within the formulation, they provide broad nutritional supplementation for suitable animals.

Particularly Useful for Reptiles & Chelonia

Correct vitamin provision is an important part of reptile nutrition, particularly for tortoises, turtles and other reptiles whose captive diets may require careful supplementation.

Vitamin A deserves particular attention because both deficiency and excessive supplementation can cause health problems. ACE-High should therefore be used according to the manufacturer’s directions rather than added indiscriminately to an already supplemented diet.

Signs such as swollen eyes, nasal discharge, respiratory problems, poor condition or abnormal growth shouldn’t automatically be assumed to result from vitamin deficiency. If these occur, appropriate veterinary advice should be sought.

ACE-High isn’t exclusively a reptile supplement. It is formulated for use with fish and birds as well as reptiles, making it useful where additional vitamin supplementation is appropriate for a range of captive animals.
