Description

Prodibio Stop Ammo is effective in freshwater and marine aquariums and is a natural plant extract which neutralises ammonia and reduces the production of nitrites in aquariums and water used for fish transport.

When to use Stop Ammo:

• When you start a freshwater or a marine water aquarium
• To limit an accidental rise in nitrites, causes, for example, by a dead fish
• When your fish are acclimatising to reduce or eliminate fish loss and encourage quicker acclimatisation

A surge of ammonia and nitrites in an aquarium generally manifests itself as white, milky water and fish sucking air at the surface. A characteristic odor on the surface of the tank confirms this diagnosis. Many aquarists mistakenly think that mechanical filtration or a water clarifier will solve the problem, when immediately adding an ammonia blocker is the only solution!

Ammonia and nitrites burn the gills and poison the blood of fish. The damage is unfortunately irreparable! Ammonia outbreaks can be more discreet, brief and go unnoticed, but they weaken the animals, opening the door to a whole host of pathologies.
