Plastic Plant & Ornament Cleaner 100ml
My aquarists have ornaments and plastic plants to furnish and decorate their aquariums for aesthetic value and also to provide the fish fish hiding places and stimulation. Over time these items of aquarium decor can get dirty and discoloured, covered in algae, organic material and mineral deposits and sometimes even colonised by the dreaded black beard algae. Dirty furnishings can spoil the appearance of an entire aquarium. Cleaning them can be laborious and sometimes near impossible without damaging them. This product is a great solution for getting your ornaments and plastic plants back to their original beauty with minimal fuss and effort. This cleaner easily removes all organic and mineral stains and kills stubborn algae and so returns your plants and ornaments to their original state. Cleaning ornaments regularly will make the whole aquarium look beautiful and well cared for.
This pack is sufficient to make up 5 x 10 litre buckets of cleaning solution.
- Rinse and brush soiled plastic plants with a soft tooth brush and ornaments in tap water and place in a 10 litre (2.5Gal) bucket of warm water
- Add 20ml of Plastic Plant and Ornament Cleaner to the bucket, stir thoroughly and leave to soak overnight.
- After soaking thoroughly rinse the plastic plants and ornaments in fresh tap water for 3 minutes
- Site clean plants and ornaments back into the aquarium
Always wash your hands thoroughly after use
Never put this product in the aquarium as it will cause harm to the inhabitants and your filter bacteria.
