The Reef Octopus OCTO elite series is a fantastic in-sump space saving skimmer perfect for home aquariums. The Elite-S features a durable cast acrylic and PVC construction and an underwater outflow. This leads to ultra-quiet operation, perfect for anywhere in the home.
Along with its sturdy build and quiet running noise, the Elite-S is simple to disassemble for maintenance. The unique “twist and lift” collection cup means cleaning the skimmer is quick and simple. It also benefits from a vented valve output with adjustment dial for precision control and a conical body to aid natural stabilisation and concentration of foam and other organic matter.
As with all Reef Octopus skimmers, the Elite-S uses a VarioS pump that features a pinwheel impeller, high quality ceramic shaft, detachable controller and variable speed flow technology. These allow for enhanced performance whilst remaining energy efficient.
