Leaf littler and other debris can fall into the pond, particularly during autumn and winter and cause tannins to be released, which leads to poor visibility. Debris left unchecked can break down to harmful waste in the water and cause water quality issues and become a breeding ground for bad bacteria, leading to diseases in your livestock. In the absence of skimmers, these nets are a great way to collect this debris before it has a chance to sink and cause harm to your valuable fish. Can also be used to skim off excessive amounts of duck weed and other floating pond plants that may otherwise block view of your fish if left to grow freely. This net is not designed for catching fish.
