Green water isn't a good look for aquariums. It doesn't only look horrible, its really bad for your fish too as the algae suspended in the water column saps the water of its oxygen content and lowers the pH as a result. Excessive light or nutrients can trigger this ugly and potentially dangerous algal bloom in your aquarium which can affect oxygen and pH levels. This makes the water highly unstable and potentially dangerous for your fish. But help is at hand. Green Away neatly clumps the suspended algal particles so they can be trapped by your filter or sink to the bottom and be syphoned off when you do your next water change. Use for treating Green Water or "Pea Soup", and remove unsightly brown or green algae suspended in your aquarium.

Dosage: 1ml per 5 litres of water.

Green water is caused by an excess of nutrients and / or lighting. Regular water changes should prevent the green water from happening again as the nutrient levels are diluted down and reducing lights to no more than 8 hours a day will also help. Regular testing of the water using liquid test kits will reveal if there is a water quality issue that needs to be addresssed.
