Spiral silencers. This is a Cleair replacement part exclusive to Shirley Aquatics.

Sumped aquariums sometimes make annoying gurgling sounds as the water return to the pump due to the pipework being open at both ends. This can easily be prevented with this simple plastic instrument that essentially forces the water to pass at an angle, rather than a straight line.

24cm long to fit inside 2″ return pipe to your sump. This item is designed to be placed inside the return pipe from the weir to the sump and will eliminate any sounds made as the water passes downwards, such as gurgling and sloshing.
