The Cleair Aquatics Caspian 520L aquarium sump and cabinet set combines the impressive swimming length of a five-foot aquarium with the distinctive slimline design of the Caspian range.
Measuring 150cm wide but only 40cm deep, it provides a substantial 430-litre display aquarium without projecting far into the room. A 90-litre sump brings the complete system volume to approximately 520 litres.
The matching cabinet, sump and pipework, controllable circulation pump, digitally controlled titanium heater and LED lighting are all included as standard.
520L Aquarium and Cabinet
The 520L Aquarium and Cabinet has a footprint of 150 × 40cm, making excellent use of available floor space.
Its 150cm length provides plenty of horizontal swimming room, while the unusually shallow 40cm depth keeps the system relatively close to the wall.
The aquarium itself is 90cm tall, giving the Caspian its striking proportions. Total height with the cabinet is approximately 161cm.
Integrated 90 Litre Sump
A generous 90-litre sump is housed inside the cabinet.
The sump provides plenty of room for mechanical and biological filtration while keeping equipment away from the main display. This creates a cleaner-looking aquarium and gives you more flexibility when choosing filtration media.
Sump and pipework are supplied with the aquarium.
Pump and Titanium Heater Included
A controllable circulation pump is included to move water between the sump and the 430-litre display.
Heating is provided by a digitally controlled titanium heater. This offers precise temperature control without requiring a conventional glass heater inside the aquarium.
Keeping equipment within the filtration system also helps preserve the clean appearance of the display.
Digitally Controlled Titanium Heater
The Caspian 325 includes a digitally controlled titanium heater, providing accurate and convenient temperature control.
The heater can be positioned within the filtration system rather than inside the main aquarium, helping maintain the clean appearance of the display and eliminating the need for a conventional glass heater and associated cables inside the tank.
Titanium’s excellent corrosion resistance also makes it particularly well suited to both freshwater and marine aquarium systems.
Variable-Colour LED Lighting
The Caspian 520 includes low-running-cost LED lighting with variable colour outputs, allowing you to adjust the appearance of the aquarium.
Light timers are available separately.
The supplied lighting is ideal for general aquarium use. Reef aquariums and heavily planted displays will require suitable additional specialist lighting.
Factory-Built Matching Cabinet
The Caspian cabinet arrives factory built, so there’s no flat-pack assembly required.
Its structural construction uses a combination of solid wood, metal and treated laminated wood rather than MDF. Adjustable feet allow the aquarium to be correctly levelled during installation.
The cabinet also provides dedicated space for the sump and associated equipment, keeping everything neatly contained underneath the aquarium.

Marine keepers benefit from the integrated sump, which provides useful space for filtration and additional equipment away from the main display.
The aquarium can also form the basis of a reef or more demanding planted system, although additional specialist lighting will be required where corals or plants have greater lighting requirements.
