These Betta Aquarium Airline Regulators provide a simple way to adjust the amount of air passing through standard aquarium airline. Ideal for use with aquarium air pumps, air stones, sponge filters and other air-driven equipment, each valve allows the airflow to be reduced or shut off when required.
Supplied as a pack of two, they’re particularly useful when an air pump is producing more airflow than a particular piece of equipment needs.
Easy Airflow Adjustment
Simply install the valve inline with your aquarium airline and adjust it to control the amount of air passing through.
This makes them useful for regulating airflow to equipment such as:
Air stones
Sponge filters
Air-powered ornaments
Undergravel filters
Other air-driven aquarium equipment
They’re especially handy when using a powerful air pump with equipment that requires a gentler airflow.
Useful for Drip Acclimatisation
These little valves have another very useful job: controlling the flow during drip acclimatisation.
When used with suitable airline tubing, the valve can be adjusted to create a slow, controlled drip, making it much easier to regulate the rate at which aquarium water is introduced to the acclimatisation container.
Once acclimatisation is complete, the flow can simply be shut off.

Can I use it with an aquarium air pump? Yes. These valves are intended for use with standard aquarium airline and can be used to regulate airflow to suitable air-driven equipment.
Can I use it with a sponge filter? Yes. A flow control valve can be particularly useful if an air pump is driving a sponge filter more vigorously than required.
Can I use one for drip acclimatisation? Yes. Connect the valve to suitable airline tubing and use it to regulate the water down to a controlled drip.
