Our latest and most beautiful model yet, the Orinoco Rimless Aquarium, Sump and Cabinet Set 240L is a complete set up for freshwater and marine keepers. Taking inspiration from our Reefscape model, combined with feedback from our customers, we have designed a stunning new aquarium that looks like no other with the quality you would expect from a Cleair Aquarium.
As with all Cleair Aquariums, this model is suitable for marine, tropical, coldwater and even turtles.

Sleek rimless design made with 12mm opti-white (low iron) glass. Bevelled edges and and clear silicone create a seamless look that compliments any aquascape without interruption by unattractive black silicone, additional carpentry or needless coloured back panel. Just one beautiful aquarium that can be viewed from any angle. The base of the aquarium is black for a truly classy finish.
After many requests from our Reefscape users, the acrylic weir has been designed in black (instead of blue) and is situated in the right of the aquarium. It comes complete with drain and return pipe, duckbill nozzle and spiral silencer for the drain pipe. The weir being situated to one side of the aquarium provides uninterrupted visual effect, better aquascaping opportunities, as well as better circulation when compared to aquariums with central weirs.

Situated inside the cabinet is the newly designed sump. Featuring red pipework with black joints, the sump also features black trims and comes with wool for mechanical filtration and red media for biological. Additional red egg crate is included.
The sump contains four compartments with plenty of space for additional media and equipment. Equipment such as heater, return pump and skimmer will fit with ease. Additional media such as phosphate remover, carbon and zeolite can also be housed in the sump for better water clarity.
The sump comes complete with covers to reduce evaporation and a suspended set of sockets to help keep wires contained within the cabinet, but away from the water. Additional guidance stickers can be found on the sump to ensure that it is never overfilled or at risk of running dry. To the right of the sump, an opening can be found in the base of the cabinet for the plug of the extension lead. This is again designed with aesthetics in mind as the wire can be passed under the aquarium, as opposed to having a hole in the visible parts of the cabinet with the electrical wire hanging out of it.
Our most stunning design to date, the Cleair Orinoco cabinet comes with a cream acrylic coating in a matte leather finish and a brushed gold trim. The sides feature black vents with gold edging to form an elegant solution for potential heat and condensation building up within the cabinet. As with all Cleair aquariums, the cabinet doors have a soft close and push to open feature, removing the need for any handles and other protruding parts, leaving the aquarium and the cabinet in a perfect flush line with each other.
Unlike other manufacturers there is no MDF used in the construction of the Cleair Orinoco cabinet. Nor are the cabinets flat packed. Each cabinet is expertly assembled in the cleair factory using strong and durable components that are unaffected by water. MDF can swell over time, whereas, the Orioco cabinet frame is built using solid wood, metal and treated, laminated wood. The frame is then clad in acrylic offering a superb finish, with the added benefit that scratches can be buffed out using T-Cut.
The interior of the cabinet is black, accentuating the unusual red pipework for a truly aesthetically pleasing finish. This cabinet features adjustable feet, aiding the levelling of the whole unit on uneven floors. The rear of the cabinet is fully enclosed, so the aquarium is still aesthetically pleasing from behind and therefore can be used as a form of room divider or even free standing.
Additional
Free standing LED lighting is included with this model. The lights come complete with remote control and a range of coloured lighting options. Reef set ups will need a separate marine light as simple LEDs are not sufficient for good coral growth.
