Hugo Kamishi Natural Gravel is a high-quality aquarium substrate designed to enhance the visual appeal of your aquatic environment. With clean natural tones, it mimics mother nature beautifully in an aquarium.

A mix of many different colours and shapes, this gravel brings diversity to your aquarium and has a very good blending effect. The medium grade (1-2.2mm) is ideal for a wide range of fish species and provides an excellent rooting medium for live plants, promoting healthy growth and stability. It’s easy to clean and isn’t coated or dyed in any way.

Its bright, natural tones add vibrancy to your aquarium, creating a clean and visually striking underwater landscape. Before use, it is recommended to rinse the quartz thoroughly to remove any dust particles, ensuring a safe and healthy habitat for your aquatic life.

These gravels are perfectly fish safe and will not affect your pH or KH

When adding new gravel or sand to an aquarium, it is advisable to rinse it thoroughly first to remove the dust from it. This will help prevent cloudiness and a change in the aquarium’s pH as the dust can cause this, but the gravel itself does not. If clouding does occur, filter floss can be added to the filtration to help clear it faster.
