The Repto Terra Sky Terrarium 30 × 30 × 42cm is a compact glass terrarium with additional height for smaller species that make good use of vertical space. Its 42cm height provides room for branches, cork, plants and other climbing structures while maintaining a relatively small 30 × 30cm footprint.

Designed as a versatile enclosure, the Terra Sky combines a waterproof base, front ventilation, secure front access and a removable mesh top, making it particularly well suited to tropical and naturalistic set-ups.

Compact Terrarium with Extra Height

At 30 × 30 × 42cm, this Terra Sky is taller than it is wide, making the available height particularly useful when creating a planted or climbing environment.

Branches, cork bark, vines and plants can be arranged at different levels to make better use of the enclosure rather than concentrating everything at ground level.

The size of an enclosure should always be matched to the adult size, activity and individual requirements of the species being kept. This compact model isn’t suitable for every reptile or amphibian simply because it has a vertical design.

Front Access with Lock

The front-opening door provides convenient access for feeding, cleaning and routine maintenance without having to remove the entire top of the enclosure.

A locking mechanism helps keep the enclosure securely closed once the animal is inside. The top can also be removed when greater access is required for decorating or more thorough maintenance.

Ventilation & Mesh Top

Ventilation is provided beneath the front door together with the mesh top panel, helping maintain airflow through the enclosure.

The mesh top also provides a practical position above the enclosure for compatible lighting equipment. Heating, lighting and UVB requirements vary considerably between species, so equipment should always be selected according to the animal being housed rather than the terrarium alone.

Waterproof Base

The Terra Sky features a waterproof bottom section, making it particularly useful for tropical displays where a moisture-retaining substrate, regular misting or planted environment is required. Repto also specifically positions the Terra Sky range for tropical and paludarium-style set-ups.

A waterproof base doesn’t mean the entire enclosure should automatically be filled with water. Any aquatic section should be designed around the requirements and safety of the species being housed.

Cable Management

A rear cable management system allows electrical cables to be routed neatly from the enclosure, helping keep lighting and other suitable equipment organised.

This is particularly useful in naturalistic displays where thermostats, probes and other equipment may be required without leaving cables running awkwardly through the enclosure.

Ideal for Naturalistic Displays

The combination of glass sides and additional height makes the 30 × 30 × 42cm Terra Sky particularly attractive for planted tropical and naturalistic terrariums.

Cork, branches and planting can be used to create climbing routes and sheltered areas at different heights, while the glass construction provides a clear view into the finished display.

Always research the requirements of the intended inhabitant before purchase, including minimum enclosure size, temperature, humidity, ventilation, UVB and furnishing requirements.
