Frozen Mysis RS 500g Fish Food

Frozen Mysis RS 500g is a nutritious frozen fish food containing whole mysis shrimp, providing an excellent way to add variety to the diet of freshwater and marine fish. Naturally rich in protein and highly palatable, mysis are readily accepted by many species and can be particularly useful for encouraging newly introduced or reluctant fish to feed.

The generous 500g pack is ideal for fishkeepers who regularly use frozen foods, particularly those with larger aquariums, multiple tanks or fish with bigger appetites. Simply remove the amount required for each feed while keeping the remainder frozen.

Mysis shrimp have a useful size and texture for many medium and larger aquarium fish. They can be offered to cichlids, larger community fish and a wide variety of marine species as part of a balanced and varied feeding regime.

Frozen Mysis Shrimp for Freshwater and Marine Fish

Frozen mysis shrimp provide fish with a food that closely resembles the small crustaceans and other invertebrates naturally eaten by many species. This can stimulate an enthusiastic feeding response while encouraging fish to forage and feed naturally within the aquarium.

Mysis are especially useful when you want to introduce greater variety alongside everyday flakes or pellets. They can also be alternated with other frozen foods such as bloodworm, brineshrimp, krill and specialist frozen food mixes to provide a broader range of nutrients and textures.

Their relatively substantial size makes mysis particularly suitable for medium-sized and larger fish, although suitability will ultimately depend on the size and feeding behaviour of the individual species.

Why Choose Mysis RS 500g?

The larger Mysis RS 500g pack is a practical choice for anyone who gets through smaller frozen-food packs quickly. It offers plenty of food for regular feeding without requiring you to continually replace smaller packs.

Frozen foods can also be valuable when conditioning fish or tempting specimens that are reluctant to accept dried foods. The movement of mysis through the water after feeding and their natural appearance can trigger a strong feeding response from species accustomed to taking crustaceans and similar prey.

Feed an appropriate portion according to the number and size of fish in your aquarium. Frozen mysis should form part of a varied diet rather than being relied upon as the sole food source. Avoid overfeeding and remove any significant uneaten food to maintain good water quality.

For fishkeepers looking for a versatile, protein-rich frozen fish food, Mysis RS provides a convenient option suitable for a broad range of freshwater and marine aquariums.
