Description

Brineshrimp Quartet 100g

Brineshrimp Quartet 100g is a convenient frozen fish food containing four different varieties of brine shrimp in a single blister pack. It’s an excellent choice for fishkeepers who want to provide greater dietary variety without keeping several separate packs of frozen food in the freezer.

The quartet combines standard frozen brine shrimp with three enriched varieties, allowing you to alternate between different foods while retaining the familiar size and texture of brine shrimp that many aquarium fish readily accept.

Brineshrimp Quartet 100g

Each blister contains four individual rows consisting of standard brine shrimp, brine shrimp with Spirulina, brine shrimp with garlic and brine shrimp enriched with Omega-3. This provides an easy way to introduce different nutritional components into your fish’s feeding routine from a single 100g pack.

Four Varieties in One Pack

The four different brine shrimp varieties make the Quartet particularly useful for fishkeepers who like to rotate frozen foods regularly.

Standard brine shrimp provide a natural and readily accepted frozen food, while the Spirulina, garlic and Omega-3 varieties add additional dietary variety. Because each type is arranged separately within the blister, you can choose which variety to feed rather than having everything mixed together.

Suitable for Freshwater and Marine Fish

BCUK recommends the Brine Shrimp Quartet for tropical, coldwater and marine fish, making it a versatile option for households keeping several different aquariums.

The relatively small size of brine shrimp makes them particularly useful for community fish such as tetras, barbs, rasboras, livebearers and dwarf cichlids, as well as many smaller marine species.

Gamma Irradiated Frozen Food

BCUK’s frozen aquarium foods are fresh frozen at source and subsequently gamma irradiated. The manufacturer uses this process across its frozen range to reduce the risk from unwanted pathogens while retaining the convenience and palatability of natural frozen foods.

The Quartet has a typical analysis of 5% protein, 1.1% fat, 2% ash and approximately 90% moisture.

Feeding

Remove the required portion from the blister and allow it to thaw before feeding. Offer only as much as your fish will consume within a few minutes and remove significant uneaten food.

For the best overall nutrition, use frozen brine shrimp as part of a varied feeding programme alongside other appropriate frozen, dried or prepared foods.

Pack size: 100g frozen blister pack.
