API Aquarium Algae Scraper for Glass

The API Aquarium Algae Scraper for Glass is a long-handled cleaning tool designed to quickly remove algae from the inside of glass aquariums. Its generous 18-inch handle provides plenty of reach, making it easier to clean deeper areas of the aquarium without getting your whole arm wet.

The durable cleaning pad tackles everyday algae build-up while the comfortable long handle gives you good control when cleaning the front, sides and back of the aquarium.

Designed specifically for glass aquariums, the scraper can be used regularly as part of normal aquarium maintenance. The long handle is particularly handy for larger or deeper tanks where a small hand-held cleaning pad can be awkward to use.

Simply rinse the cleaning pad with tap water before use, then work it across the inside of the aquarium glass to loosen and remove algae.

Easy Aquarium Maintenance

Regularly removing algae keeps the viewing panes clear and prevents heavier deposits from becoming established. The long reach also means less disturbance to the aquarium while cleaning, particularly when working around plants, rocks and other decorations.

Rinse the scraper thoroughly after use and allow it to dry before storing.

Important

This scraper is intended for glass aquariums only and should not be used on acrylic, which may scratch.

Do not use the cleaning pad on dry aquarium surfaces. Always rinse it before and after use, and check that no sand or gravel has become trapped against the cleaning surface before wiping the glass.
