Reef Factory KH Keeper Reagent

Reef Factory Reagent for the KH Keeper! This is needed for your KH Keeper to properly measure and monitor the Alkalinity in your aquarium.

The KH carbonate hardness (alkalinity) is a measure of the acidic capacity of water and the ability to stabilize the pH parameter affecting the corals. A stable KH value means healthy and colorful corals in the aquarium. Rapid changes in the KH value can lead to coral health issues. Corals from the SPS family, especially the acropora, are particularly sensitive to such changes.

Reagent mix ratio: 1 l of the reagent / 9 l of the RO water.
Prepared reagent test sample: 5-15ml (with KH value of 8, the prepared reagent consumption is about 8 ml).

1 l of the concentrated reagent is enough for 1,429 tests on average. The cost of a single test is about €0.035.

The Smart Reef system will notify the user when the reagent is running out.

The Smart Reef App available for iOS and Android will notify you when the Reagent level is low!
