Oase AquaActiv PhosLess Algae Protection Phosphate Binder: High Phosephate levels are not uncommon in ponds, especially with large Koi and other fish that require a high protein diet. If left unchecked, phosphates can build up and lead to an algae outbreak in the pond, which can be very laborious to fix. Phosphate removers like this absorb such nutrients directly from the water column, thereby simply removing the nutrient source from the algae. Can be used in several ways, but best placed in a high flow area for maximum effect. Replace periodically when it's spent.
