NT Labs Octozin 250ml
NT Labs Octozin 250ml is Suitable for coldwater & tropical aquariums. 3 day treatment for Hole-in-the-head disease and Bloat
When to use?
Certain species of bacteria and parasites can cause Hole in the head disease in many different species of fish, and cause Bloat in African cichlid species.
Use when fish show symptoms of holes, pits, or lesions around the head, face, and/or lateral line. Use when fish show symptoms of abdominal bloating, protruding scales, white or clear trailing faeces, and loss of appetite.
Do:
- Calculate the volume of your aquarium in litres (Length x Width x Depth (in cm)/1,000).
- Increase aeration
- Gently tip bottle 10 times. Do not shake
- Mix required amount of Octozin treatment with 1 litre of aquarium water. Add slowly to the aquarium.
- Complete a 30% water change 4 days after the last treatment
- Do not use any other medications during treatment.
- If you feel a second round of treatment is required, first check your diagnosis is correct, test your water quality using NT Labs Test Kits and carry out a 30% partial water change.
Warning:
- Octozin may cause low oxygenation in overstocked or low-flow aquariums. Please ensure to aerate your system adequately when using this medication.
- This product may cause foam to appear on the surface, this is normal and soon fades. Continue filtration during treatment but turn off UV sterilisers and ozonisers, remove zeolite and carbon. These can be turned on and added 4 days after the last treatment. Wait 4 days after the last treatment before completing a water change, except in an emergency.
