Live Tubifex worms are a high protein, great choice for fussy eaters and most aquarium fish, particularly fish that are too small to consume bloodworms and other more chunky foods. It's particularly good for smaller species of catfish as the worms will sink to the base of the tank, wriggling around and triggering a natural feeding response in the fish.

Live foods are high in protein and a great way to bring fish into breeding condition, which is when they are at their most colourful. Also recommended for putting weight on fish after a bout of sickness and treatment.

Feeding Guide: Feed your fish 1 to 2 times a day only as much as they will consume in a few minutes. Any uneaten food must be removed after the fish have finished feeding, before it has a chance to break down into harmful ammonia that could lead to water potential quality issues that would be detrimental to the wellbeing of your fish and other livestock.

We recommend feeding live foods as soon after arrival as possible, but if this isn't possible, storing the bags in the fridge will prolong the shelf life of the product.
