Komodo Mealworm Dish
Mealworms are constantly moving and wriggling, so if they are not fed correctly, they pose a risk of roaming all over the reptile enclosure, compromising hygiene and potentially pupating and causing a beetle infestation. There is also a risk of health issues and impaction if the mealworms get mixed in with the reptile's substrate and the reptile ends up consuming too much of it while trying to eat stray mealworms. This dish is designed specifically for feeding mealworms safely and hygienically. The dish is water tight and dishwasher safe.
It's best to offer the mealworms in a mealworm specific dish to keep them hygienic and under control. This dish has a taller concave lip that the mealworms won't be able to climb over, but still allowing your reptile to get to them for its meal.
