Glossostigma elantinoides Pot

Description

Glossostigma elatinoides is very popular in Japanese-inspired aquariums. It is one of the smallest aquarium plants (2-3 cm tall), and thus a great foreground plant. This is one of the harder aquarium plants that requires a lot of light and will grown upwards if light is poor. Try to not let larger plants overshadow it and plant in small clumps at intervals of a few centimetres to help the plants grow together more quickly. CO2 addition and soft water promote growth significantly. Requires a temperature range of between 22-28 degrees celcius.

Supplied in a small pot with mineral wool.
