GH Mineral Additive
GH is one of the most overlooked water parameters in the freshwater fishkeeping hobby. It is however extremely important for the overall wellbeing of any enclosed eco system and should be monitored on a regular basis.
As most commercial tap water supplies contain differing levels of minerals, by adding this GH mineral additive you aid biological filtration and improve fish health. These minerals are vital for biological filtration. By adding Koi-Tec GH mineral additive you will improve fish health and help to maintain a healthy bio filter.
Test pond water using a GH test kit. To raise hardness by 1 dH mix 44g for every 1000L (220 gallons). Mix with pond water and disperse around the pond perimeter. The desired levels for koi will be between 8dH and 10dH. For other pond fish this may be different, so please do research before proceeding. Once the correct levels are reached you will need to add a top up dose when required.
