Oase FiltoClear 5000 Pond Filter and Pump Set OC

The Oase FiltoClear 5000 Pond Filter and Pump Set OC is a complete pressure filtration package for smaller garden ponds. It combines the FiltoClear 5000 pressure filter, AquaMax Eco Premium 5000 pump, integrated 18W UVC and AquaActiv BioKick 95g filter starter in one matched system.

The set is designed for ponds up to 5,000 litres, reducing to 2,500 litres with fish or 1,200 litres with koi.

FiltoClear 5000 Set

The compact pressure-filter design makes the FiltoClear particularly useful where you want effective filtration without a large filter box sitting visibly beside the pond. The robust housing can be partially buried, leaving the filter head and controls accessible for maintenance.

As a pressure filter, it can also return filtered water to a suitably positioned waterfall or stream.

AquaMax Eco Premium 5000 Included

The set includes the AquaMax Eco Premium 5000, correctly matched by Oase to the FiltoClear 5000.

The supplied pump delivers a maximum flow rate of 4,000 litres per hour while consuming just 35W, making this the most economical of the FiltoClear sets we’ve covered so far.

Integrated 18W UVC

The FiltoClear 5000 incorporates an 18W UVC within the filter.

Oase has designed the UVC housing so the lamp can be replaced without dismantling the quartz glass. Unlike some of the larger FiltoClear models, the 5000 does not have a UVC cleaning rotor.

Easy External Cleaning

Routine cleaning is carried out using Oase’s patented pull-out mechanism, which compresses the internal filter sponges without requiring the filter to be opened for normal maintenance.

A two-way valve allows dirty cleaning water to be directed away from the pond, while Oase’s bypass technology maintains water movement through the filter and helps prevent clogging.

The FiltoClear 5000 Set OC is rated for:

Maximum pond size: 5,000 litres
Pond with fish: 2,500 litres
Pond with koi: 1,200 litres

These figures are maximum capacities. Fish stocking levels, feeding, sunlight and the amount of organic debris entering the pond should also be considered when selecting the appropriate filtration system.
