Replacement fine (white) filter pads for Eheim external canister filters. These high-quality fine filter fleeces are made of specially structured materials that mechanically trap coarse and fine dirt particles. These should be placed last (on the top) in the media layers of your external canister filter. Can only be used once, replace each time the filter is cleaned. Contains 3 filter pads.
Replacement coarse (blue) filter pads for Eheim external canister filters. These high-quality foam filter pads mechanically trap dirt particles and friendly nitrifying bacteria colonises in the pores. Can be reused many times over, replace when they lose their shape.
Eheim 'activated' carbon is for clarifying and chemically filtering aquarium water. These are available in cartridge or pad form, to be inserted in Eheim internal and external filters. They are great for removing substances such as chlorine, treatment residues and dyes. Its use is particularly important after treating livestock with medications. Eheim 'activated' carbon will turn the water crystal clear. Suitable for use in both freshwater and marine aquariums.
