Easy-Life AlgExit Algae Treatment
Algae are produced when an aquarium is not well balanced. Causes of an unbalanced aquarium are the excessive feeding of fish, too many fish in an aquarium, excessive lighting or excessive fertilization. Regular water changes will help control this, but in certain circumstances the excessive nutrients can't be helped and algae needs to be treated.
In some cases, algae is simply caused by the aquarium being new. All aquariums go through the same routine when they start up. First, the diatoms (brown algae) appear and eventually that is replaced by green algae, typically slimy and all over the glass. This is a normal part of establishing a stable cycle.
Easy-Life AlgExit is a safe and effective product for combating almost all types of algae in a freshwater aquarium. Algae, such as beard algae, brush algae and filamentous algae, are effectively wiped out. AlgExit is easy and economical to use and harmless to fish, shrimps, molluscs and plants. The algae growth is first brought to a standstill and then it disappears. Any algae spores that are still present in the water are removed and the result is clear and clean tank. For Black Beard Algae and Stag-horn Algae, use a carbon based treatment like EasyCarbo.
Dosage
Add 10 ml per 100 litres once a week for four weeks. This period may be extended if algae still remain or if spores continue to germinate. Length of treatment will vary according to nutrient levels, lighting and temperatures.
