The Spektrum range of high-output LED lights has been specifically developed by D-D for home and all captive reef aquariums, providing the power, colour and control required for optimum growth, colour-rendition and fluorescence, making your fish and corals stand out and thrive.
Inspired by the needs of the hobbyist, every detail has been considered, with custom wide-angle, colour-blending optics, quality branded LEDs, easy to use app control, splash resistant housing, active fan cooling and flexible mounting options, all packaged in a contemporary modern design.

Spektrum 150 LED Arrangement
Fundamental to any aquarium lighting is the colour, quality and power of the light produced.
Modern reef aquariums are dominated by the clean crisp blue colours that really make corals stand out and pop. In some lighting fixtures this can result in the white colour channels running at a fraction of their potential, as you try to get enough power balanced with the best colour. To ensure that you get the most out of the light Spektrum units have been designed with real-world settings in mind. Different lighting schedules from successful reef aquariums were analysed to create the perfect balance of power and colour straight out of the box.

A specially selected and balanced combination of 62 LED’s are used to ensure both chromatic and fluorescent colours stand out whilst still retailing enough power for even the most light demanding of corals and properly stimulate photosynthesis in coral tissues.
Wide angle colour blending optics
A specifically designed ultra clear wide-angle lens is used in all D-D Spektrum Marine LED Lighting fixtures to ensure that the light produced is transmitted properly to the aquarium with an even, homogeneous spread.
Lighting your aquarium but not being blinded by your light is important. The lens in a Spektrum light is recessed into the case and surrounded by an angled anti-glare shade to avoid an unwanted direct line of sight with the lens without blocking or compromising the light spread.
Active Fan Cooling
To ensure correct operation and longevity the light unit must be able to cool properly. Spektrum lights have a solid aluminium heatsink with ridged high surface area fins and is fitted with a thermostatically controlled low voltage fan. This results in excellent and efficient cooling when needed.
As part of the active programming in the app it is also possible to set the fan to constant running, this will keep the fan running at a low-speed setting to help prevent condensation forming on the light in cool humid environments.
Lights are supplied with easily removeable guard.
Full Wireless App Control
Incorporating a direct local wireless connection and Wi-Fi for remote access these lights can be fully programmed and easily set using the free to download D-D Spektrum app.
The app gives you full control over automatic and manual settings as well as the grouping of lights and the saving or sharing of lighting presets.
