Common Clownfish are one of the easiest marine fish to keep and breed. They are a perennial favourite of reef keepers as they don't damage corals or critters. They are also highly recommended as a first fish for those who are starting out in marine aquariums. Like all clowns, they are best kept in pairs, with the larger of the two being the female. Similarly to most damsels, they can be mildly aggressive from time to time but seldom cause any real harm to tank mates. Bubble Tip Anemones, Malu Anemones, Crispa Anemones, Ritteri Anemones and Carpet Anemones are what they usually host in the wild, but in captivity they will go for any anemone available.
