Christmas Moss in 80cc Cup
The aptly named Christmas moss is a slower growing carpet moss suitable for freshwater aquariums. Its overlapping leaves hang down to create the look of a Christmas tree and the deep green colour is reminiscent of an evergreen. However, it grows horizontally rather than upwards to create a carpet. It's a beautiful addition to your aquarium that provides a source of food and a hiding place for freshwater shrimp, small fish and fry. It likes a temperature between 18 and 25 degrees celcius with a good water flow and can cope with slightly more acidic water. It doesn't require specific CO2 levels to grow well but it does grow faster with it.
Christmas moss looks best when grown on rock or wood but can make a great addition to any planted tank. We have some great set up's in store that show off how well it grows and how great it looks.
