Brineshrimp + Omega3 100g Fish Food

Brineshrimp + Omega3 100g combines frozen brine shrimp with added Omega-3 oils, providing a nutritious and highly palatable food for a wide variety of aquarium fish.

The small size and soft texture of brine shrimp make them suitable for many community species, while the Omega-3 enrichment provides additional nutritional variety alongside standard frozen brineshrimp. BCUK recommends this food for tropical, coldwater and marine fish.

Brineshrimp Omega3 100g

Brine shrimp are readily accepted by many aquarium fish and make an excellent addition to a varied feeding programme. They are particularly useful for smaller and medium-sized species that may find larger frozen foods such as krill, mussel or whole fish too substantial.

The Omega-3 enriched version offers an alternative to standard brineshrimp as well as the Garlic and Spirulina varieties within the Salt Lake City range.

Omega-3 Enriched

The brine shrimp are enriched with Omega-3 oils, adding valuable fatty acids to an already versatile natural food.

BCUK describes the Omega-3 formulation as particularly useful when conditioning fish for maturation and breeding. Rather than relying on it as a complete diet, it is best alternated with other suitable frozen, dried and prepared foods.

Suitable for Freshwater and Marine Fish

This food is suitable for tropical, coldwater and marine aquariums. Its small food size makes it a useful choice for species such as tetras, barbs, livebearers, dwarf cichlids, gouramis and many smaller marine fish.

Typical analysis is 5% protein, 1.1% fat, 2% ash and approximately 90% moisture.

Gamma Irradiated

BCUK frozen aquarium foods are frozen at source and subsequently gamma irradiated as part of the manufacturer’s production process.

Convenient 100g Blister Pack

Individual frozen portions make it easy to remove only the amount needed at each feeding while keeping the remainder of the pack frozen.

Remove the required portion, allow it to thaw and feed an amount appropriate for the number and size of fish. Avoid overfeeding and remove significant uneaten food before it begins to affect water quality.
