BiOrbs are made exclusively from acrylic, which allows the characteristic rounded shapes without visual distortions to the aquarium. This also makes them harder to break and substantially lighter, which in turn offers more options for suitable stands and they're easier to move. But whilst acrylic has many benefits, it is more prone to getting scratches than glass.
The biOrb scratch remover set can be used to remove light scratches and dirt from the acrylic glass of biOrb aquariums. The scratch remover can be used on the outside and inside of the aquarium. To clean the inside wall, the aquarium should be emptied beforehand. As acrylic is more prone to scratches than glass, the appearance of them is more likely to happen. But they are generally easy to buff out, leaving your beautiful biOrb shiny and looking new again.
