Betta Choice Aquarium External Canister Filters are a range of external power filters suitable for aquariums up to 1500L. The filter is easy and simple to use, featuring a high output pump, and an easy-to-clean multi-stage canister filter. These products are recommended for use with all tropical, and coldwater fish.

Betta Choice External Canister filters have an abundance of features making them a wise choice for your freshwater aquarium. This quiet and reliable filter ensures low energy consumption whilst providing a high flow rate, easy to use and maintain. Aquariums of 250L upwards should not be reliant on small internal or HOB filter with sponges. These external canister filter contain both sponges for mechanical filtration and ceramic media for biological filtration with room to spare for additional media like carbon or zeolite.

The Canister Filter Comes complete with media and U.V. steriliser. Unfiltered water flows in from the aquarium and into the U.V. chamber where harmful bacteria and parasites are neutralised. The water then flows into a multi-stage filtration system passing through the media trays and flowing to the top clean and clear it is then pumped back into the aquarium. The Built in U.V. tilt safety switch and patented revolutionary one pump ez prime system makes operation easy. Built in surface skimmer and colour coded quick release valve.
