The TMC Pro Pond UV MAX 110W UV Clarifier is a powerful UV clarifier designed for large ponds, koi ponds and high-flow filtration systems, including pressurised installations operating at up to 3 bar.

With 110 watts of UV power and individually chambered lamps, the Pro Pond UV MAX is designed to maximise the contact between passing pond water and UV-C light, helping control the free-floating algae responsible for green pond water.

Its compact, wall-mountable design makes it particularly suited to larger pond installations where high UV performance is required without unnecessarily complicated plumbing.

Powerful Green Water Control

Green pond water is usually caused by huge numbers of microscopic, free-floating algae suspended in the water.

As pond water passes through the Pro Pond UV MAX 110W, it is exposed to UV-C light. This disrupts the free-floating algae, allowing them to clump together so they can be removed more effectively by the pond’s mechanical filtration.

For the best results, a UV clarifier should always be used as part of a correctly sized pond filtration and circulation system.

Designed for Large & Koi Ponds

The Pro Pond UV MAX has been developed for larger pond installations, where substantial water volumes and higher circulation rates demand more from the UV clarifier.

It is suitable for use in pressurised filtration circuits up to 3 bar / 43.5psi, making it a particularly useful option for larger koi filtration systems and other installations using pressurised pipework.

Individually Chambered UV Lamps

Rather than simply passing water through a large chamber containing the lamps, the Pro Pond UV MAX uses individually chambered UV lamps.

This design helps optimise the contact time between the circulating pond water and UV-C light, making efficient use of the unit’s 110W output.

For large ponds where considerable volumes of water need to be treated continuously, this is a much more meaningful feature than simply looking at wattage alone.

Fused Quartz Sleeves

The UV lamps are protected from the pond water by fused quartz glass sleeves.

Quartz allows UV-C light to pass effectively into the surrounding water while helping the lamps reach and maintain their intended operating temperature.

Keeping the quartz sleeves clean is important, as limescale and other deposits can gradually reduce the amount of UV reaching the water.

Suitable for Pressurised Systems

The Pro Pond UV MAX can operate within pressurised circuits up to 3 bar / 43.5psi.

This gives pond keepers greater flexibility when incorporating the UV into more substantial filtration installations rather than limiting it to simple gravity-return systems.

As with any pond UV installation, it should be positioned according to TMC’s installation instructions and matched appropriately to the pump and filtration system.

Compact & Wall Mountable

Despite being designed for substantial pond systems, the Pro Pond UV MAX has a relatively compact, practical design.

The unit can be wall mounted, helping keep larger filter installations organised and making better use of available space around the pond or filter house.

A generous 5 metre power cable is supplied for additional installation flexibility.
