Hozelock Bioforce Revolution 14000 Pond Filter Kit

The Hozelock Bioforce Revolution 14000 Pond Filter Kit combines the powerful Bioforce Revolution 14000 pressurised filter with an Aquaforce 8000 pond pump, creating a complete filtration system for larger garden ponds.

With mechanical and biological filtration, a built-in 36W UVC and Hozelock’s easy-clean system, it provides everything needed to circulate, filter and clarify pond water without having to select a separate pump and filter.

Bioforce Revolution 14000 Pond Filter Kit

The Bioforce Revolution 14000 Pond Filter Kit uses three stages of filtration to help maintain clear and healthy pond water.

The integrated 36W UVC helps control the microscopic algae responsible for green water. Water then passes through CypriCube mechanical filter media, which captures suspended dirt and debris. Finally, Kaldnes K3 biological media provides a large surface area for beneficial bacteria that help process fish waste.

Easy-Clean Pressurised Filter

One of the best features of the Bioforce Revolution is that routine cleaning doesn’t involve pulling filthy filter foams out of the canister.

Turning the handle operates internal cleaning blades that squeeze and agitate the CypriCube media, releasing trapped waste. The dirty water can then be diverted through the waste outlet and flushed away.

This makes regular maintenance considerably quicker, cleaner and more convenient – particularly on a larger pond where the filter may need regular attention during the warmer months.

Includes Aquaforce 8000 Pond Pump

The kit includes the Hozelock Aquaforce 8000, a solids-handling pond pump specifically suited to filtration systems, waterfalls and watercourses.

It delivers a maximum flow of 8,000 litres per hour, with a maximum head height of 4 metres and power consumption of 95W. Its large outer cage reduces clogging, while Hozelock’s wildlife protection system helps prevent small fish, frogs and newts from reaching the pump impeller.

The Aquaforce 8000 can also be operated either submerged or dry-installed and has a secondary inlet that can be connected to equipment such as a pond skimmer.

Ideal for Waterfalls and Watercourses

Unlike a traditional gravity-return box filter, the Bioforce Revolution is pressurised. This means filtered water can continue upwards after leaving the filter, allowing the system to supply a waterfall or watercourse.

The filter can also be partially buried up to the level of its hose connections, making it much easier to disguise alongside the pond.

What Pond Size Is It Suitable For?

The complete system is rated for ponds up to 28,000 litres without fish and 14,000 litres with higher fish stocks. Hozelock pairs the Bioforce Revolution 14000 with the Aquaforce 8000 as the matched pump and filter combination.

These figures should be treated as maximum capacities. Heavy stocking, high feeding levels, shallow water and strong sunlight can all increase the demands placed on a filtration system.
