Fluke-EX is a new fluke treatment from Vetark, it goes a step further than its predecessor Fluke Solve. This is because Fluke-EX can treat Costia, Trichodina, Roundworms, Tapeworms, and Fish Lice (Argulus) as well as Skin and Gill Flukes.
This is because Fluke-EX uses the Fluke Solve technology alongside a new ingredient; a broad spectrum anti-parasitic.
This fluke treatment can be used in the presence of salt (as long as other treatments are not used at the same time), down to temperatures as low as 3 degrees Celsius, and is safe for plants and biofilters.
However, this product is made for use in ponds containing exclusively Koi Carp! It can also be used in a range of fish species including Goldfish.
It is effective from temperatures from 3°C. Simple to use, safe and effective.
Methyl (6-(phenylthiol)-1H-benzo(d)imidazole-2-yl)carbamate
25% for administration by bath/immersion route.
Dosage: Use this fluke treatment at a rate of 4g powder per 1000 litres of water. First add the required quantity of Fluke-EX® powder to 10 litres of pond water in a clean container and stir. Immediately add this stock solution to the pond water with the fish. Rinse out the container with pond water and add to the pond. If necessary a separate tank can be used to immerse the fish for the treatment period of at least 24 hours.
This pack will treat 25000 litres (5500 gallons) of pond water.
Use for the treatment of skin and gill flukes and also Trichodina, Costia, roundworms, tapeworms and Argulus (fish lice). Fluke-EX® can be used in a pond without affecting either the bacterial filters or the plants.
Fluke-Solve® is a licensed veterinary medicines under the ESPA Scheme.
