Tetra Pond Flakes – Complete Food for Pond Fish

Tetra Pond Flakes provide a complete everyday diet for ornamental pond fish, combining good nutrition with a flake format that is particularly easy for smaller fish to eat.

Unlike larger sticks and pellets, the flakes spread readily across the pond surface, giving more fish an opportunity to feed. This makes them an excellent choice for ponds containing young fish, smaller species or timid individuals that can sometimes struggle to compete with larger fish at feeding time.

Balanced Nutrition for Healthy Growth

The carefully balanced recipe contains high-quality proteins to support healthy growth, alongside a blend of nutrients formulated to support digestion, resilience and general condition.

Tetra Pond Flakes are also highly digestible. Better utilisation of the food means less unnecessary waste entering the pond, helping to support cleaner water when the food is fed correctly.

Ideal for Smaller Pond Fish

Flake food is particularly useful when your pond contains fish with smaller mouths that may find conventional pond sticks or larger pellets difficult to manage.

The flakes can be easily eaten by small and young fish and distribute over a wider area than many larger foods. This can make feeding a mixed pond easier, especially where larger, more confident fish tend to dominate at mealtimes.

Feeding Tetra Pond Flakes

Feed an amount that your fish can comfortably consume, taking into account their size, number, activity and the temperature of the pond. Avoid adding more food than the fish will eat, as uneaten food unnecessarily increases the load on your filtration system.

For ponds containing fish of very different sizes, Tetra Pond Flakes can also be fed alongside an appropriately sized pellet or stick food to give smaller fish better access to their share.
