Takazumi Friend Koi Food 10kg

Takazumi Friend Koi Food is a complete floating pellet food designed for regular feeding during the warmer months. Supplied in a large 10kg bag with 6mm pellets, it’s particularly suitable for ponds containing larger or multiple koi where food is used regularly throughout the season.

With 33% protein, Friend provides a balanced staple diet to support normal growth, condition and colour without being formulated as an intensive specialist growth or colour food.

10kg Koi Food with 6mm Floating Pellets

This 10kg koi food is supplied as 6mm floating pellets, making it most suitable for established koi that can comfortably take a medium-sized pellet.

Floating food allows you to watch the fish feed and monitor how quickly the pellets are being eaten. This makes it easier to adjust the quantity offered and avoid leaving excess food in the pond.

A Complete Everyday Koi Diet

Takazumi Friend is intended as a complete staple food rather than a supplementary treat.

Its 33% protein content provides a sensible level for routine feeding, while the formulation is designed to support growth, colour and general condition.

For keepers who use different foods throughout the year, Friend works particularly well as the everyday part of the feeding programme rather than a specialist seasonal diet.

When to Feed

Takazumi recommends Friend for use when the pond water is 12°C or above.

As with any koi food, the amount offered should reflect water temperature, fish activity and appetite. Feed only what the fish are readily consuming and reduce the quantity as temperatures and activity levels fall.
