The SuperFish Scaper 140L Rimless Aquarium is a complete open-top aquarium designed specifically for aquascaping and heavily planted freshwater setups. Crystal Clear glass, a clean rimless design and generous front-to-back depth give you an unobstructed view and plenty of room for creating detailed planted layouts.
At approximately 138 litres, the Scaper 140 is the largest model in the range and measures 77 × 45 × 40cm. Its 8mm Crystal Clear glass provides excellent clarity while the open-top construction removes the bulky plastic trims found on many conventional aquariums. SuperFish Scaper 140L Rimless Aquarium
Unlike the smaller Scaper models, the 140 includes an Eco-Flow 240 external filter. Keeping the main filter outside the aquarium leaves more usable space inside the tank and helps maintain the uncluttered appearance that is particularly desirable in an aquascape.
The Eco-Flow 240 provides approximately 800 litres per hour of flow while using 14W. Aquadistri
Powerful Scaper LED Lighting
The included 48W Scaper LED 93 provides strong illumination designed to support demanding aquarium plants.
With a PAR rating of 269, the lighting gives planted-aquarium enthusiasts considerably more scope for creating densely planted layouts than a basic aquarium light. The raised mounting also complements the open-top appearance of the Scaper aquarium. Aquadistri
Designed for Aquascaping
The Scaper 140’s 45cm front-to-back depth gives you plenty of space to build perspective using stone, wood and planting rather than producing a narrow, flat-looking layout.
An EVA foam underlay is supplied to support the aquarium, together with a reversible background poster with black and white sides. Plant fertiliser and a liquid carbon supplement are also included to help get a new planted aquarium established. Aquadistri
