Fill the feeding ball with the normal amount of food pellets (Ø 3-6 mm), close the ball and throw it into the pond.

Your fish will find great enrichment in nudging the ball around on the water’s surface and getting pellets to fall out of the ball. It prolongs the feeding period, which is great for your fish as they would spend their time continuously searching for food and eating smaller quantities but all day long in the wild.

The fish are actively engaged and it resembles the natural behaviour of hunting for food. You can also fill the feeding ball with silk worms as a special treat and a great protein boost for your Koi.

Tip: Attach a wire to the feeding ball to make it easy to remove from the pond.
