Sebae Clownfish are one of the larger species of clowns. Somewhat similar to Tomato Clowns, they are easily distinguished by the black pectoral fins and a single white ring around their shoulder. As they are one of the larger species of clowns, they can be prone to a little more territorial aggression than you would normally see. The fish will adjust very well to a range of conditions and tend to be very undemanding.  As with all clowns, they prefer to have an anemone in their aquarium, but it isn't necessary as long as there's plenty of hiding places. Bubble Tip Anemones, Malu Anemones, Crispa Anemones, Ritteri Anemones and Carpet Anemones are what they usually host in the wild, but in captivity they will go for any anemone available. Toadstools and other similar soft corals have also been popular with these fish in the past. Like all clownfish, they can be somewhat territorial and therefore should be kept as a single pair. It is not recommended that they are housed with other types of clownfish as they may fight over space. Other tank mates, provided that they're larger, robust species are generally not considered a threat.

Copper should be avoided when keeping any clownfish as they have a very low tolerance to it.
