Pro Rep Snake Life Lignocel Substrate is part of the "Life" series of substrates designed for use for specific animal species or types. Manufactured under the brand name lignocel specifically to meet the needs of snakes. Snake Life is produced from wood sourced from sustainable forests and has a low dust and resinous oil content. Dried at a high temperature, it is safe for use for many species of snakes that do not need a high humidity environment.

It is highly absorbent and will quickly absorb spillages or animal waste helping to trap any unwanted odours and making spot cleaning quick and easy.

Directions: Spread substrate evenly over the base of the enclosure to a depth of 1 to 2 inches. Spot clean the substrate daily and completely replace it every 2 to 3 weeks or more if heavily soiled or wet.

If you are using a heat mat under a substrate or a glass tank, the substrate depth must be no greater than 1cm and the thermostat sensor should be positioned on the mat. Please refer to the heat mat manufacturer's instructions for more information.
