Longnose Hawkfish are a stunning addition to a marine aquarium. Their bright red colouring is sure to catch the eye and they're full of personality. Often seen perching on a rock, they like to survey the tank and are quite inquisitive and don't tend to be shy. They are intermediate difficulty as they are somewhat sensitive and need more attention in order to thrive. They are generally peaceful, but should not be kept with other hawkfish as they can get territorial towards their own kind. Smaller mild mannered fish and invertebrates should be avoid as they may be eaten or outcompeted for food. The Hawkfish do not however eat corals, so they are technically reef safe.
