Juncus ensifolius - green rush
A dwarf rush with masses of striking black/very dark brown burrs throughout Summer. Forms attractive compact clumps and ideally suited to small and medium sized ponds. Grows in shallow water, bog gardens or damp soil at the ponds edge in full sun or partial shade.
