Hozelock EasyClear All-in-One Pond Filter

The Hozelock EasyClear All-in-One Pond Filter combines a pond pump, mechanical and biological filtration, UVC and fountain into one compact unit. It sits completely underwater, making it ideal for smaller ponds where you don’t want an external filter box beside the pond.

Installation is refreshingly simple. The EasyClear uses one power cable, with the pump, filter and UVC all contained within the same submerged unit.

Foam media captures suspended debris, while Kaldnes biomedia provides an area for beneficial bacteria. The built-in UVC helps control the suspended algae responsible for green water.

Fountain & Waterfall

The EasyClear can also create a decorative fountain or supply a waterfall. Three fountain head options are provided, allowing you to change the appearance of the display.

The larger EasyClear models can operate a fountain and waterfall simultaneously, with flow controls allowing the output to be adjusted.

Which Size Do I Need?

We stock three sizes:

• EasyClear 3000 – ponds up to 3,000 litres
• EasyClear 6000 – ponds up to 6,000 litres
• EasyClear 9000 – ponds up to 9,000 litres

Important: these maximum figures are for ponds without fish. Fish increase the biological load considerably, so a larger model should be selected for stocked ponds.

The EasyClear 3000 uses a 5W UVC, the 6000 a 9W UVC, and the 9000 a 13W UVC.

Easy to Maintain

Tool-free access makes routine cleaning straightforward. The foam media can be removed and rinsed when required, while the UVC uses a bayonet fitting for easier access when replacing the lamp or cleaning the quartz sleeve.

A water bypass also allows the UVC and fountain to continue operating if the foam becomes blocked.
