The Green Bubble Anemone is a lovely addition to many aquariums. It is a vivid colour and unlike corals, it can be intriguing to watch as it moves around the tank to find its preferred location. As they have a symbiotic relationship with photosynthetic algae, they will require decent lighting to function properly. The flow should be moderate, but the anemone will find the perfect location where the flow is just right. for this reason, it is important that any wavemakers in the aquarium are covered in mesh to prevent the anemone from getting sucked into them. Once it has settled, the anemone will generally stay where it is.

Whilst anemones are generally not bothered by any tank mates, it is important to remember that they can sting nearby corals and any slow moving fish and critters. Clownfish will naturally host them, as will porcelain crabs.
