The Cream Angelfish is a very hardy fish native to the Indian Ocean. It is a fairly passive species that is very easy to keep, making them an excellent choice for a beginner. When first introduced to the aquarium, this angel may be very shy, but it will come out of its shell soon enough and make full use of the aquarium. A few caves in the rock work will be appreciated by this fish so that it can hide if it feels the need to.
Sadly, like many angelfish, they are not considered reef safe as they're likely to nip at stony corals, soft corals and clam mantles. They should not be kept with any other angels, including their own kind. Tank mates should be chosen carefully as shy, passive fish may be bullied or outcompeted by the Cream Angel.
