biOrb FLOW MCR LED Aquarium Kit

The biOrb FLOW MCR LED Aquarium Kit combines the clean, contemporary styling of a biOrb with a more traditional rectangular aquarium shape. Available in 15-litre and 30-litre sizes, the FLOW is particularly useful where space is limited, with a relatively narrow footprint that works well on suitable desks, worktops and side units.

Made from clear acrylic, the aquarium comes complete with biOrb’s integrated filtration system, ceramic biological media and remote-controlled MCR lighting. Simply choose your decoration and suitable livestock to create a compact aquarium without needing a collection of separate filters, pumps and lights.

biOrb FLOW MCR LED Aquarium Kit

Unlike the spherical CLASSIC or cylindrical TUBE, the FLOW has a familiar rectangular format with softly curved front corners.

This provides a broad viewing area while retaining the distinctive biOrb styling and concealed filtration system. The relatively narrow front-to-back dimensions also make the FLOW particularly easy to accommodate in smaller spaces.

MCR Multi-Colour LED Lighting

The integrated 2.8W MCR LED lighting system provides far more control than a basic aquarium light.

Using the supplied remote control, you can choose from 16 preset colours, fade through the colour spectrum and adjust the brightness to create anything from clean everyday illumination to more atmospheric evening lighting.

Automatic 8, 10, 12 or 14-hour day/night cycles can also be selected. Once programmed, the lighting automatically progresses through its cycle rather than requiring a separate plug-in timer.

biOrb Multi-Stage Filtration

The FLOW uses biOrb’s integrated filtration system, keeping bulky conventional filter equipment out of the main viewing area.

Water is drawn down through the ceramic media covering the aquarium base. The highly porous structure provides a large surface area where beneficial bacteria can establish, forming an important part of the aquarium’s biological filtration.

Waste is then drawn into the replaceable filter cartridge at the bottom of the aquarium. Foam provides mechanical filtration by trapping physical debris, while chemical filter media helps remove dissolved pollutants from the water.

Continuous Circulation & Aeration

The included low-voltage air pump drives the entire filtration system.

Air travelling through the central bubble tube creates continuous water movement through the filter while also providing aeration. Once filtered, oxygenated water circulates back into the aquarium.

This simple system means there is no conventional internal power filter occupying valuable swimming or decorating space.

Clear Acrylic Construction

The FLOW aquarium is manufactured from clear acrylic rather than conventional glass.

Acrylic allows the gently curved front corners that give the FLOW its distinctive appearance while keeping the aquarium relatively lightweight and resistant to accidental knocks.

Because acrylic is softer than glass, suitable acrylic-safe cleaning equipment should always be used to help prevent scratches.

FLOW 15 or FLOW 30?

The FLOW 15 MCR measures 20.8 × 30 × 31.5cm and has a 15-litre capacity. Its particularly compact footprint makes it best suited to miniature aquatic displays and carefully selected livestock.

The larger FLOW 30 MCR increases the capacity to 30 litres and measures 26 × 38 × 39cm. The additional water volume and swimming space provide more flexibility when choosing suitable livestock and creating a more substantial display.

Both sizes are available with either black or white trim.

Complete Aquarium Kit

Everything needed for the aquarium’s basic operation is supplied in the box, so there is no need to purchase separate filtration, aeration or lighting equipment.

Decoration can then be chosen separately, with a large range of biOrb ornaments, plants and accessories available for creating anything from a natural-looking aquarium to a more colourful contemporary display.
