Rubber liners are widely regarded as the superior option for ponds, owing to the durability and resistance against UV damage, chemicals and temperature extremes. Rubber Liners are elastic and flexible and therefore easy to lay with minimal creasing and damage from pressure is reduced due to the elastic nature of this product. It is cured under extreme pressure and heat during the manufacturing process to seal and prevent it from releasing harmful chemicals, therefore making it safe for fish and wildlife.
Whilst this rubber liner is incredibly durable and 1mm thick, we still recommend the use of an underlay to protect it from any potential punctures from stones and roots. Not using underlay can void the guarantee on pond liners.
