Pack of 6 50mm diameter air stones. Works very well with more powerful air pumps that produce 1.5-5L per hour, producing larger volumes of bubbles for oxygenation and water surface agitation. porous pumice will allow air to disperse in bubbles of various sizes, producing a continuous supply of oxygen for your fish and other livestock.

It is Highly recommended to run an air pump, especially in the summer when oxygen levels are particularly low due to higher temperatures. It improves surface agitation, which in turn improves the exchange of gases in the water. Improved oxygen levels not only lead to more healthy and active fish, but improves the efficiency of nirtifying bacteria and bacteria responsible for breaking down organic waste and detritus. Low oxygen levels also increase acidity in the water, which may have adverse effects on fish, depending on species, and eventually encourage old tank syndrome. Don’t forget to use a non-return valve if the air pump is at a lower level than the air stone.
