Elite Stingray Carbon / Zeolite Filter

ELITE STINGRAY 10 Zeolite Carbon Replacement filter inserts combine ultra grade carbon and ammonia removing zeolite in one cartridge, making them a convenient solution for healthy water. The insert effectively removes discoloration and potential ammonia problems quickly. Simply change one insert every two weeks for a crystal clear aquarium.

Zeolite - This hard porous media absorbs ammonia and nitrite as water passes through it, giving beneficial bacteria a greater chance of keeping up with the bioload of your livestock, especially during feeding times. It is especially helpful in aquariums with particularly dirty fish like goldfish, cichlids and predators. Once media has absorbed as much as it can, replace with new cartridge.

Carbon - removed impurities such as heavy metals, chemical pollutants and even tannins for superior clarity and clean water that's free of damaging pollutants. Can be used to clear residual aquarium treatments at the end of the course.

Remember to remove cartridge if aquarium is being treated for any parasites or diseases as the treatment will be absorbed by the cartridge, compromising the efficacy of the treatment.
